Beebe Man Forced to Surrender Animals to AR Game & Fish Commission

BEEBE, Ark. - A Beebe man was forced to say goodbye to his beloved animals, after the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said he violated permits.

 

Both sides said it is a matter of life and death.

 

"For 13 years, this is what we've known," said Kristy Young, the animal owner's family member. "The kangaroos boxing, the deer, they jump and prance. You get to see a lot of stuff you wouldn't normally see. We're all going to be pretty heartbroken over it." 

 

Family, friends and strangers will soon see nothing but land, after the AGFC moved in Tuesday, starting with the deer. 

 

"We tranquilized them," said AGFC Spokesman Keith Stephens. "We're going to take them off site and put them down quickly and humanely."
