I used to see some baws over the levee fishing near LSU around where bright side dead ends river road.
No idea if they catch anything though I assume they were going for big cats

I think they have catfish in the BREC park on Burbank by the soccer fields. I also see a good number of people fishing they bayou (Fountain, I think, maybe Manchac) further down Burbank by the light at Highland. Presumably they're fishing for cat.

I don’t have anywhere specific because I don’t fish for cats but download the Fishbrain app and it should lead you to the spot.
