Essentially I just want to put some shade on my patio which faces the west down here in Florida. Just need it for the rest of summer/football season to watch games outside. I'll be out the house in a year and down want to drill into the siding.

So far I've come up with a sun shade and 4 plastic plant pots with cement and a 4x4 out of each one. I can stow them out of sight when not in use.

Anyone have any other ideas so I don't have to mess with moving those pots around?

Just get a pop up tent from Walmart, $49. Pop up when you need it and put it away when you don't.

Honestly Id do a clearance patio cover set from home depot until I was ready to drop the coin on a permanent enclosed patio setup.

Lowes Pergola w/ Screen $399

get some hooks, turnbuckles, SS twisted strand cable
stretch a sunbrella tarp over the area and secure to structure with the hardware

just do an aluminum cheap patio man. It'll make patio look nice and add much appeal to home. Selling quicker is value baw.

Just stretch a blue tarp between your trailer and the one next to yours.
