I bet there are some sad gun store owners this morning.

Saw this:

quote:

Donald Trump’s election effectively puts an end to the gun control legislation proposed by Democrats. Under Barack Obama, gun companies have enjoyed record breaking sales and share price growth driven by fears that he would tighten rules on sales following a series of mass shootings. Smith & Wesson’s shares were down 10.21% and shares of Sturm Ruger were down 12.29% in early morning trading.

Gunmaker stocks falling because no more pressure on gun control.

But long term, this is amazingly awesome for gun store owners and customers.

I'm hoping for a suppressor act soon.

That along with bringing all those old ww2 rifles back home through the CMP. Obama blocked hundreds of thousands of rifles from coming back into the country through EO.

Would be a dream to see the market flooded with those. Hopefully they won't be bought up by companies like Cheaper Than Dirt and horded for a false scarcity.
