That is entirely dependent on what you’re using it for. I have an AR with a 3-9 for various things, but for a house gun a 1x optic is the best option. There is no LPVO as fast as a decent red dot. If you need a compromise there are some that are close but they’re all compromises.

They’re good. I prefer Aimpoint for my unmagnified but use a LPVO for work as well as most of my guns other than my SBR

Yep. Love the bigger FOV and the ring. And I have an astigmatism so even Aimpoints have the starburst effect.
