AR Guys - 1x4 Scopes

Looking for some new glass for my 6.8, I think I have decided on a 1x4 - what yal use, the good and bad.....thinking along the lines of Burris MTAC or Leupold VX Hog

I like the price and the reticle, I am a pretty simple guy seems like a lot of the 1x4 (vortex etc) have a very busy reticle.

Have you shot all ranges with yours, longer ranges (150-200) and closer (25-75)? I am hoping to deer hunt and hog hunt farthest shoot deer hunting 175-200 but we get in tight with the hogs?

Max range I've shot is around 100-120 yds. Hopefully I'll get an opportunity to shoot further soon. I would guess you would want more magnification beyond 200 yds.

Have the MTAC and love it.
Don't know the price of the Leupold but got the MTAC for about $375 on sale.
