I usually use Cautrers in Kentwood which is good and cheap but CC is a lot closer.

Any experience with taste and his price on sausage?

I haven't, but my BIL has been using Alack's right down the street from them. He gave me some pineapple/pepperjack/jalapeno few weeks ago that was really really good. Wouldn't be something good to cook with, but was awesome by itself.

Buddy uses them every year, we split a batch there this year. We got a mix of pepper jack smoked sausage and bacon burger this run. I don't recall the price, it was not expensive I do remember that.

I use circle c. Damn good green onion and cheese sausage, fresh and smoked. Good people too. Prices aren't terrible, everything is vacuum packed and labeled.

Just wanted to add, they seem to pack heavy and seal. If you want more manageable portions you have to ask in advance.

Went with Alacks because he has coolers and didn't need to keep the chest.

I really like how alacks package their ground meat. It's flat and easily stackable. But their green onion and cheese smoked sausage leaves alot to be desired for me personally. Circle C's sausage is better.

Well I got pineapple and pepper jack, Cajun, and jalapeño cheddar. I guess we will see how it goes.

It's going to be good. And they don't skimp on the pineapple.

Hmm, good to know. Couldn't be a more convenient place to me than this. I'll have to give them a try soon.

They are amazing with deer sausage.

They make good stuff, but I don't like their packaging.

I’ve gotten my last several deer processed there. I get strictly Cajun fresh sausage for the first 2 that I kill every year. It allows me to take out of the casing and use for ground meat, or smoke the sausage if I want sausage. Their prices are reasonable and the sausage is good. I’m not big on sweet sausage, but my s/o loves their pineapple and brown sugar smoked sausage.

I'm going to pickup my order from Alack's today. I ordered smoke, green onion and hot sausage and some ground meat with bacon. Hopefully they won't disappoint.
