After reading hundreds of reviews I decided to order one to see for myself. I ordered a
4-16X50mm with a 30mm tube to replace a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14X50 with a 30mm tube, never liked the sight picture with the Leupold compared to my other scopes. I've got a Zeiss that's obviously my best glass, but have a couple Nikons that I really like.

Antsy about trying a new brand, anyone personally have a Vortex?

I have the Diamondback 4-12x40 on a Savage .308. Good scope for the money. No complaints

Good glass and good lens coatings, and they're well-constructed

Eye reliefs are horrible on them though

I have a viper pst 6-24x50 its got great glass but at higher magnification eye relief is pretty rough

ETA and had a crossfire II on a 45-70, had to cull that one because after 5 shots cross hairs wouldn't adjust
