Huge cleanup morning at the rec park from last night's fireworks show...then came home to weedeat. Sat my arse in a cold shower for 20 min to cool down. White cans seem to be doing the trick now.

Yes, getting the bugs off the truck, washing the ice chests and watering the semi new lawn. And yes, it was hot in the AM.
Seems we're gonna pay for the cooler early summer.

After a couple days out on the boat, I did some yard work and washed the cars today. It is miserable outside.

Agreed.
Spent early a.m. through mid afternoon doing the same.
A shower and cold watermelon helped big time.

I mowed yesterday and did my weedeating today also. I have to weedeat my ditch. It whips my butt every week. When I finished, I bent over and spayed the hose on my head and neck after I washed off my arms.

Been thinking about buying a rotary mower for the ditch.

Just got out of a cold shower and I'm laid out under the ceiling fan. I think I'm going to live...

I'm too old and way too out of shape for this yard work nonsense. Especially on a day like today.

I've got a 3 acre pond/lake behind the house and fished it this afternoon. Good grief, the water was hot. Somewhere in the upper 90's. And yeah, that's the surface temperature and it's cooler deeper. But I've never seen it this warm. And never a bite or any indication of fish today. The Osprey and Anhingas were skunked too.

Winter is coming, thankfully.

Sat the thermometer I keep stuck in an a/c vent in my truck on the hood while I cleaned and wiped down interior. It read 130° after about 10 minutes. White hood in the sun.

LUMCON's Terrebonne readings are that the water is 92.9 degrees.

Got cooked pretty good yesterday setting up water games to get the kids outside and off the video games.

Today I cooked and went outside only to turn the meat.
