Anyone seeing worms yet?

Waiting for the bream action to heat up. Caught a bunch of goggleye but still looking for bluegill. Havent seen any worms yet. They showing up around yall?

We didnt see any last week around Lake Verret Area. But a buddy lit them up on nightcrawlers so they must he falling

We caught all of two sacalait last weekend on jigs. And they were thin thin thin. But my buddies boat caught about 50 bream on nightcrawlers

This morning I caught 30 keeper goggleeye with a few perch in there. Still not on fire yet.

Hit some stuff off blind river diversion a couple afternoons this week.

My buddy is fishing belle river tomorrow and sunday. Supposively its on down there.

catfish point will see us...this is a meat run after the initial bass fishing...

Chinquapin are on fire in canals around verret. And massive.

Grassy Lake just south of Verret has a Chinquapin run around this time of year I believe. They are likely headed that way in the canals

Buddy wore out the bream in the Sherman on night crawlers the last 2 days

bream are bedding in the cracker head canals where I was...bring the crickets...watch the wind as it's supposed to be up tomorrow...

oh...and several people were catching them on the west side of the lake up in the cypress knees...

Good news. Yeh we know about the wind. We have a good size boat but it still won't be fun crossing that shallow arse lake. Going to hit up the Cheramie area around Grassy lake as well as Crackerhead
