Seems like they came out of nowhere today...look like tiny flying cotton puffs

*I just cut the lawn and I think theyre baby moths...they are all up in my grass.

Sounds like the adult form of the sod webworm. Congrats on joining half of Louisiana.

Have you noticed any dead grass in the yard?

As in?

If you have unusual patches of dead grass, it is likely caused by the larval form of those moths eating your grass.

I'm in Houston and treated every yard within 3 doors and across the street from me for sod webworms just today. They have taken a toll on every lawn in my neighborhood but I could only get so much permission to take it further. I used Talstar with a sprayer and it took up most of my day today. My neighborhood flooded fairly significantly, just not in our houses, in April. Wondering if there's a connection with these frickers and floods?!?!

Sprayed this yesterday. Several dead patches in the back yard, though the bastards left the weeds
