I'm considering buying one to tinker w my Benjamin Marauder PCP air rifle & to play around with my kids bow/arrow setups.

Do you use a Chronograph?
If so, what do you use it for?

I was given one for Christmas but haven't been able to use it yet. I will be using it for fine tuning reloads for my deer rifles. Mine is the Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph Premium Kit. Can't wait to go to the range and set it up.

I use one a bunch for my rifles. It will tell you a ton of information about how your rifle will shoot at distance. Also, it will tell you a ton of information about the ammo you are using.

Mainly, use it to work up loads for my rifle, but also use it to check velocities when the weather changes.

I've been using the same Oehler 35P since 1992 ; $300 was a lot of coin spent 25 yrs ago but worth every penny

use it for my DayState Harrier PCP air rifle to confirm 25 shot strings , and IMO a chrono is a must have when working up accuracy loads for rifles
