I grew up fishing the South End. Biscuits and gravy at Big Bass, Langly's (The old 2 story store) and Curtis' were the spots.
Coming from Shreveport now, I've yet to find good food outside of Southern Classic Chicken in Many.

I fished Pirates twice last year and had some good days. Once was the crest of the flood and it was the only clean water on the lake. (I kept that to myself at the time)
