Anyone ever had success with making mock scrapes?

Apparently bucks are scraping and chasing does on a portion of our lease. However, I've never seen a scrape on my side of the lease but I do have good buck activity at night. I was thinking of creating my own scrape to see what type of response I get. Anyone have success with mock scrapes? If so, what's the best way to create it?

Never tried it, but if I did, I would get a scrape dripper.

The scrape you see in the dirt isn't what the buck is interested in, its the smell. You can accomplish the same thing using scent products, but they have mixed reviews. Have heard good things about VS-1, but it costs a pretty penny.
Everyone has their opinion, but if the bucks are being seen chasing does I'm hunting established trails or places where I can cover a lot of ground. A lot of times a buck will make dozens of scrapes and never check the majority of them again.
