Anyone ever fish Grand Gosier/Bretton Island area rigs at Night?
Going on a night trip next week. Hear there are lots of 20 " 0 pound trout out there this time of year.
Yes the guy I am going with has a big boat, radar, and has been out there many times before at night.

I've stayed out until dusk because they were biting. Made the run back through MRGO all the way to West End in the dark. Was a little hairy until we got above the MRGO closure.......
I'm sure there are some big ones out there at night.

Yep I've fished some rigs out there overnight. The summer is the best time. Bring a sleeping bag and crash on the platform after the bite dies off
