Starting to see a little sun in Venice. Getting closer to firing up the radar and heading down river. Be safe in this stuff fog is bad stuff.

Took kayak out for a quick trip with one line. Had to be back at the house for 1030. Then I proceeded to snap my pole on my tailgate. Now I'm back at the house. Yup, Great start to the morning.

My in laws live in a nice gated place in arnaudville called hidden hills. It has about a 80-90 acre lake stocked with bass (my biggest there is 5lb 3oz),bream and sac a lait. No body is ever on that lake, it's perfect for a kayak. I'll be back out there tomorrow probably.

Yea it's nice. I can cover most of the banks in a day's trip and be thorough with it. Was super excited for this morning with the warmer weather and then pulled a rookie mistake with the rod.
