Been 2x in the last 3 weeks. Picked up a few trout here and there. Anybody picking up consistant numbers? I fish out of BSL.

Got a couple good reports from Cat last weekend. I've been too busy to go, other than a quick wade trip on Sunday and it was no good.

I’ve had a couple of people tell me they are catching them just outside of Gulfport Small Craft Harbor. I am about to go put in there now.

Used to murder white trout there. Small but hella fun.

My bad man. It was the first pic that came up when I search banjo bait.

Deleted.

I think it's still kinda screwed up out that way. At least that's what I'm hearing from my ms people. Bonte Carre might be opening again soon as well

The water is definitely still wrecked. Can find some pockets of clean water, but best bet is to make a run.

The trout are thick in the bays, but with the water right now, youll probably have to have to find them without help from birds or slicks. I was back at the house by 7:30am a few days ago and happened to find them right away.

eta: Most people think theyre not biting so you wont see many boats. Let them go top Cat Island with everyone and their brother.

Yeah. Thats what im seeing with the water too. Have got a few here and there. Havent run across yet because been a little rough for the boys(age 8). Gonna hit a few spots in the bays and hope to get lucky. Caught a 42# black drum on plastic last week though. Kids thought it was cool. ???????

Hell ya, I haven't been able to go in a month but the last time I was out there it was a slick calm ride across the sound, only saw one other boat, and limited on reds. Hoping for a similar day sunday and some trout would be a nice bonus

yeah I haven't fished Cat Island in two years. I just got tired of fighting the crowds. Pitre is just as bad, only fished it one time last year
