Sold my offshore boat earlier this year and looking to downsize to something easier and cheaper to use. Have my sights set on a Sea Ark coastal 200 with 140 hp suzuki right now. Would be used for inshore saltwater and transportation to fresh water duck camp. Looking for opinions from anyone that may have either fished from or owned one of these.

They still use boats in 2072?

Damn figured they'd be phased out.

My grandparents have an older 18.5' freshwater model with a mercury 90. Boat has held up very well and no problems with it. Width makes it extremely roomy to fish. Very stable, plenty of compartments to put your stuff. The rod box is kind of tight, but that may just be this particular model.

I fish out of one in Venice a fair amount. Its a SOLID boat. Now the SeaArk is not going to win a beauty contest and for the money it's not finished out well.......but ....... A much stronger boat than the xpress and like models if you ask me. I've been on multiple express bay boats and they are sub par in quality. The hull design, metal thickness, and welds are what make this boat. The SeaArk Coastal has avery nice V that can take a chop too. We fish near shore rigs for snapper and the shallow ponds for reds so it can handle both worlds within a given range of conditions. You may be able to come out better on a full custom metal boat for the price you are going to pay on the SeaArk.

Definitely liking the 1/8" hull. I can get a sweet deal on a dealer leftover that has been sitting there fore a few years. Hull looks used but has never hit the water. Would have new power in the form of a 2016 140 suzuki.

Looks like some assclown just likes to downvote for fun on here.

Anyhow, the 140 suzuki would be plenty of power. The one I fish on has a 150 yamaha and it is plenty. Probably could get away with a 115 and still have all the power you need.

Look at the sea ark mxt tunnel bay. If needed, can run in about 6 inches of water
