All these ford owners in here 
Had to pull my little cousin out a few years back. He was pulling his little wooden boat along the bank of the bayou behind pow pow's. The bayou has about 10 foot of bottomless mud off the bank. If he wouldn't have dug his fingers into the bank, he probably would've been gone. Good thing pow pow and I were outside.

Sounds like lots of personal experiences of almost getting killed by it.

Same experience with Thompson Creek. Seen two people almost disappear growing up. Luckily there was driftwood nearby to pull them out with on both occasions.
