This exact issue happened to my 2006 Sierra two weeks ago. I plan on replacing the blend door actuator.

I think it's way easier on a bench seat truck. Last one I did was on the Tahoe, and I basically had to take the entire dash apart and could still barely reach the fricking thing to bolt it in

The fuse pulling didn't work. Blend door actuator it is. I have the bench seat, aughta be a quick fix. Thanks fellas

Hammer time is right Blend door actuator. You tube it take it out and take it apart. Clean out all that grease in there and put it back together. Did that to mine been cooling for couple years since.
