Another Toledo Bend question thread

I got invited on a fishing trip to the central part of the lake near North Toledo Bend State Park this coming weekend. I know it's not the ideal time of year, but we have a friend that's a guide taking us sac a lait fishing.
Is it worth bringing yo-yos and putting out this time of year?

I think toledo is a non yo yo lake.

Not this time of year. Save the Yo-Yo's for the spawn when they're in the shallows.
