I have a gmc sierra (20 inch rim option) with Nitto Mud Grapplers. I want to go down to an A/T tire.

I want to get a smoother ride and a quieter ride, but I love the aggressive look that the mud grapplers have. I really don't have a need for overly outstanding off road performance but fell in love with the more extreme look.

This is the list I have now. Don't eat me alive, I may be a noob to this stuff.

Nitto Terra Grappler
Toyo Open Country A/T II
BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain
Cooper Zeon LTZ
Mickey Thompson Baja STZ

I am very impressed with the Nitto Trail Grapplers. They have a rugged look but ride almost like a street tire.

Man, I average 18.9 in my ecoboost xlt. I wonder what the difference would be for me. I'm currently at 47k and am looking for replacements

This is the M/T which is a step more aggressive than the Terra Grapplers. How long have you had them because those shouldn't be much different than what I already have...

These are my favorite on the list but I have heard that they are the loudest of the bunch, which I am trying to get away from....

My dad had had them on several vehicles and I can't remember them being loud. I actually like the Toyo MT but they are really loud.

On my second set of trail grapps, got almost 70k out of my last set iirc. They are much quieter/smoother than the mud grapps, which sound like youre in a small Cessna- to put it lightly. Thompson Baja ATZ's are solid too

If you're rolling with the mud grapplers, any of those you listed will be a severe upgrade as far as noise goes.

I had Nitto Terra Grapplers on my old Tacoma. They had 40k miles on them and still had minimum 50% tread left when I sold it. Great tires, wear quiet.

I don't have anything against them but they look the least aggressive of any tire on the list
