These are my first attempts at making GoPro videos. I was using the the chest harness because I haven't come up with a mounting solution just yet. But, I actually kinda like the first person view a little. It does have it's downside. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy. Any editing tips are greatly appreciated. This is my first attempt, so go easy on me.

11/16/16: Dense Fog Edition

11/17/16: Dinks and Choupique Edition

I'm going to get a battery extender or 2. Cause I caught a few decent fish after the battery died each day. In fact, I caught all of my best fish after the battery died. But, I did take some pics.

I saw your thread about moving to BR. Henderson is about 45 minutes away from BR. So that's another fishing option for you.

I think the Jackson Big Rig has a 450 lbs capacity. How big a boy are ya? If that ain't enough maybe a canoe or small flat bottom boat would be your best bet.

Also, the water is low right now. You can get around Henderson easily in a large bass or bay boat when the waster is at normal level.

ETA: The Native Slayer 14.5, which is the one I have, also has a 450 lbs capacity. I had to look it up. I wasn't sure.

This is the most OB pic I have ever seen.

Kayak? Check.
Fish? Check.
Beer? Check.
OB koozie? Check.
Foot? Check.

Pillage, I don't know whether to thank you or not because you just cost me a chunk of change.

Just bought the Native Slayer 12 footer after watching your videos.

Will be my first one.

Nice! Where do you launch if you don't mind me asking? I live 30 minutes from Henderson and I never think to bring my kayak there for some reason. I always end up driving 2 hours or more to saltwater fish.

I've been putting in at Kerns and fishing in the pit. The ramp is closed but you can still put a kayak in. The pit is inaccessible to boats right now because the water is so low. But the pit is still about 8 feet deep. Plenty of bass in there. Plenty of choupique too. Bring a knife and gut every single one you catch. They need to be thinned.

Pillage, once I get used to this thing, I will buy you dinner/beer at Pat's if I can catch some of them bass with you.

Love Pats although I haven been in 10 years.

Would like to try the bass. Saltwater runs through my veins but used to bass fish with the old man.

Pillage, kayak came in. I am set up as far as I know!

Going to take it out for a maiden voyage Saturday if I don't go duck hunting.

watched your videos again.

I'm getting my kayak this weekend. Pretty pumped this spot is close to BR.

Also thinking about getting my lil girl one too.

How old is your little girl? I'd say go for it. I'm putting my kids in the boat as soon as possible. They'll have to get a little older before we do the kayak, but I'll be putting them in as soon as I think they're ready

The water is getting right from what I hear. I haven't been in about a week and a half, but everyone says it's falling and clearing up. The bite has been getting better. I will definitely be trying to get my butt out there soon. In the kayak you could fish up and down the area they call The Boulevard. I've caught many fish in that area. It gets real pretty when the trees green up too.

Any questions about the area, just let me know. I'll do my best to answer them.
