What say you men of the OB?

I want to like the .40, I really do, but I'm just not sure I see the advantages over the 9mm. Maybe someone here can help me see the light.

I personally like the middle guy more than either outlier, and like the 357sig significantly more than all of the above

I own all 3 but lately I am shooting and carrying my 9mm, Glock 19 to be exact.

The new 9mm rounds are comparable to the .40.

It is personal preference mainly.

I've seen the ballistics tests and they're really not favorable to the .40 especially when using good loads/self defense rounds for the 9. That, on top of the .40 being a snappier round thus not being able to get off follow up shots as well as the 9mm kind of slant me towards the 9.

Am I wrong here?

9mm IMO a lot cheaper to shoot, so in theory, you'll shoot more with hit.

I too wanted a .40 until I compared the cost of ammo. All it takes is one well placed bullet regardless of caliber to stop an intruder.
