Fellas, I am looking to either build my own or buy pre-built If I can find what I am looking for. would like to put proper muzzle device on for suppressor, and what are your thoughts on Mlok v standard picatinny quad rails?
also, do we have any preferred vendors parts wise? I know to stay away from cheaper than dirt because they're fricking sleaze balls.. thanks for your time .

If you go look at the ar-15 thread I just posted a picture of what mine came out looking like. But that might be at a different end of the spectrum than what you are looking for. I did not go with the conventional rail because I had the Wilson trim rails on two other ars and wanted to keep the matchy matchy going. But if I was starting a build today. Absolutely Mlok over quad rail. Quad rails are too unnecessarily heavy and bulky.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of AR pistols? I don't get it.

Like I said vendor wise it will depend on what route you go in terms of cost

I honestly don't like them. But for someone that wants to go that route I'm not going to argue. It's just a way to get a shorter than 16" barrel without having to go through the sbr process. I already had a trust so I went ahead and did the sbr

AR pistols always remind me of William Dafoe's character from Clear and Present Danger, dude was way of head of the times with that thing I feel like.

For the OP, I have nothing to help sorry. Seems like a silencer on a pistol like that would make it extremely off balance?

Those big goofy "counterweights" that people hang off the back don't count as a stock I don't guess?

You can't legally shoulder a pistol. Bout the only difference

Well that's idiotic. Legislatures need to pass a firearms class before being able to vote on laws.

Idgaf ablout the legality of shouldering lol.
Call me a POS but I'm pretty much trying to go SBR minus all the paperwork. I shoot on private land with a few buddies and I'm just looking for something fun to work on some stuff with.
