check la.ducks.org and scroll down for the calendar giveaway. I was given a calendar as a gift last year but didn't win shite. But somewhere there's a mallard hen that's safe because of my generous donation, she's probably in Missouri.

They usually post late the day of the drawing. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in 2016.

I sold about 25 for our local Chapter including one for myself. Good luck to everyone paticipating.

It's and actual calendar, and it had to be purchased by last week. They pulled all the guns at a lawyers office and are being kept in a safe until that days winner is announced. Look for them about Septemberish of this year for 2017. $50 bucks. Only 6000 calendars are sold in Louisiana. Other states may be different. Even if you win a gun your name goes back in the hat and have a chance to win multiple guns...pretty sweet little deal.

Why would anyone give money to DU? Do a little research before u give money to see where it is going. Delta waterfowl is a much better option.

Delta - lots of research

DU - buying land and doing conservation projects

In the end, they are both in it for the ducks so I don't knock Delta like most of them do DU, but DU is clearly the better choice if you want to donate.

Please elaborate. I hope its not that DU is spreading corn north of here and heating ponds to keep the ducks from getting here.

IMO both are good for the ducks and I give to both in support of that.

Fact: Animal rights activist give large amounts of money to DU when they do this they can earmark that money for whatever they want it to go too such as your said duck sanctuary where they spread corn by the tons with spreader trucks everyday and heat the water so ducks never have to leave. Fact:DU misson statement is all about conservation. Fact: DU has 2 million more acers in Canada than they do in the US. . Some is weather change related but a lot has to do with they have no reason to leave. Fact Most of DUs money is spent in northern States and Canada. There is a lot of politics involved with DU also. If I had time I would elaborate more mabe one day I will get time and make a thread about this.. And for the record I'm not bashing DU, giving to DU is better than giving nothing at all. I'm just saying Delta seams to be a better choice for me. Opinion; DU is the about half the reason we don't get the flight we used to in the 90s.

Out of curiosity, what is it about Delta that makes it a better choice for you? For the record, I support both, just wondering what makes Delta better in your opinion

You came on here and took a shot at DU. If you didnt intend to bash DU, you should have stayed out of the thread about a $50 dollar calendar that is giving away 157 guns.

Show where the Delta money goes in Louisiana and please post videos of the pond heating in your more elaborate thread you start.

Louisiana kills more ducks than the totals of most flyways and people still complain...

No till farming is the reason we don't get the push of ducks we used to and you can take that to the bank.
