2013 F150 issue when starting from a stop

I have an FX4 F150 with ecoboost. Every once in a while when I start from a complete stop the truck shakes almost like I am getting rear ended. I have read a few things online and sounds like it may be the slip yolk. I am going to take it to the dealer on Thursday and leave it with them for a few days. Anyone have any ideas?

Happens to me every now and then. I've talked to a few other guys with the same issue and they all say it is normal. It sure doesn't feel normal though. I had Ford check it out and they said everything looked good.

Mine does it when slowing down going up a hill, like approaching a stop light.
Say I'm doing 40 mph going up to a stop light at the top of a hill, I coast up to the light and I'll be doing about 20 mph when the light changes back to green maybe 40 yards in front of me. If I touch the gas, it downshifts hard. You'd expect to see the transmission in your rear view mirror.
It only happens coasting uphill, with an "unexpected to the truck" application of throttle.

Happens to the four people I know with F150s

From a stop, mine will jump like a gave it gas or something. Idk if this is the same thing you are talking about.

I googled f150 hard shifting and found this...
And this exactly describes what mine does...
I don't think the transmission "learns" your driving style. As I stated, I've learned it's driving style, and now I'm able to identify the scenario, and avoid it.

pretty much everybody is, atleast at first. I've got almost 6000 on mine now and it's pretty well gone. The tranmission has to 'learn' your driving style. Mechanics at my dealership told me to drive the piss out of it and it will stop, and it's worked. Drive it like you stole it and the issue will remedy itself.

Some 2009 F-150 vehicles equipped with 5.4L 3V engine and equipped with a 6R80 automatic transmission may exhibit the following symptoms during warm-up: a harsh 1-2 upshift, harsh 2-1 downshift while coasting 15 MPH (24 Km/h). A harsh downshift into 4th gear at highway speeds 45-70 MPH (72-113 Km/h) may also be experienced.

Be prepared to hear that nothing is wrong.

I have a 2013 F150 but no Ecoboost; never experienced anything like yall are describing.

Does it happen as soon as you put your foot on the gas or after you've gained a few mphs of speed?
If its A) sounds like a turbo issue. If its b) sounds like a transmission issue

Ironic that there's a Chevy thread 3 up from this about a guy that's done nothing after 200k miles?
I think not.

I had a 2010 raptor 6.2. First year of this tranny. They replaced the tranny at 96k miles after I kept complaining about it. It started again with new transmission at 124k

wow, just put enough miles on it to get it out of warranty

Mine has done this among a thousand other things which is why I will be going back to a 250.

My 2014 F150 work truck does the exact same thing. Rattles (feel wise, not audible) prior to me applying throttle.

thats it... I am going to leave it at the stealership for a few days when I go out of town. My guess is they won't find anything. It's under extended warranty at the moment.

Checking in with 87k on a 13 F150 ecoboost. I've never experienced any issues whatsoever.
