2011 Ford F-150 HVAC problem

Two days ago I noticed there was no air blowing out of the dash vents. It would only come out of the defrost and foot vent. The local ford dealership mentioned replacing the blend actuator. Has anyone else had this exact problem?

Pretty common. Not cheap either.
The part is only ~$150, but you basically have to pull the whole dash to get to it. I think my buddy was quoted like $1200 to fix it.
