Is there a semi auto pistol that shoots the 17 hmr round?

Only .17hmr pistols I've seen are revolvers

Savage makes a rifle that holds 10 rounds pretty expensive. 17 hmr is a bad round!

I'm not aware of any. As mentioned earlier, there are 17 HMR revolvers made by Taurus.

There used to be. i had seen it several times in the gander mtn. I bought a chiappa 17hmr revolver. 10rd cylinder in it, $180 out the door! Love the ole cowboy gun

They had one at a new little outdoor shop off hwy10 in between Clinton and Jackson. It's right next to the Texaco gas station. They used to have a store but it burned down a few years ago.

Excel arms MP-17 if you can find one - the savage A17 is a great little rifle.
