This is what I'm going with. I found a 2010 at H&W marine in Bossier for 11,300 OTD.

But an Alumacraft

MV1860 SC with 115 Merc Optimax

I paid 13 for it IDK what they would run now but they dont rate it for 115 anymore only 90. That will cut the price too.

Find a used one two years old or so.

Most boats see very little time on the water and even less time on the big motor.

If you do your homework, you can get a used boat for a steal.

Saw this at Cabela's this weekend, seemed like a really nice boat for the price. Right around $10,200 or so.

Lowe Skorpion

Gonzales is pretty far away from me, but thats alot cheaper than the Lowe dealer here in SBC wants for that skorpion. They told me 13,5

This boat had a 40lb thrust motorguide with a Mercury 40. I'll try to get down there and snap a pic of the sale sheet, maybe it shows the options. Wouldn't pay $13,5 for it, but the $10,2 or close to it was appealing.

As someone else said, buy a one or two yr old boat and save a lot of money.
