Checked a camera yesterday and saw a buck with a recently broken tine. Figured I’d bring the grunt call and rattling bag this morning and give it a try.
Amazing how accurately deer can pin point sound. Had a spike come in from some nearby cutover and make a 40 yard circle around my tree sniffing around before heading off. He knew the sound came from right here. Impressive especially for a yearling spike

8 yo woke up sick, coughing sounds like a seal.
Here we are at 9 and he feels like a million bucks and driving me crazy. He is about to get a ride to school.
Christmas and work may make me miss out on hunting till late next week.

I highly recommend getting this stuff from the store. It beats going to the doc in a box and paying for a co-pay and for shots in the hip.

We just got some last week. For me and the wife.
We are usually a healthy group, but we have been passing this cough around for 6 weeks now. It is aggravating.
The only one that hasnt got it is the 6 year old, but he is our mutt, he never gets sick.

Dad just texted that he shot AT a nice buck. Waiting for update. But I'm 94.7% sure he didn't get his gun shooting right before this little adventure.
