Just getting light enough to see. This picture is nowhere near as dark as it is. Could damn near use my phone to scan the perimeter in the evenings.

Foot2 in garhole stand.

Foot3 w me in stand we see deer every hunt.

Foot3 has exceptionally bad luck
So trying hard to get a buck for him.

Foot2 just shoots a 6 point on a barren dirt road.

Foot2 has good luck, be like Foot2

30-30 and hanging in the Cruze.
Hung the sticks and platform, came down for gun and bag and seen two white tails running at 60 yards. Only movement thus far but stuck it out through the rain

Watched a doe pop out and I let her get about half way across “just in case”
2 fawns pop out and they’ve been feeding for about 20 minutes. Waiting for this wind to swirl at them and run them off. She hasn’t picked her head up yet.

Just got back in and cleaned up.

Eldest son broke the ice this evening on a 175-200 lb sow forgot the scale at home…

Middle son and I saw 2 does with yearlings not a bad Sunday afternoon at all.
