US medal predictions...

I am going with 8 gold and 23 medals. Both may be optimistic by 1 but I am an optimist. I think the gold count making 8 depends on the US women beating Canada in hockey.

weve pretty consistently been around 9/10 golds and high 20s overall. probably will hit around there again

I love when people that don't know frickall about a subject come in and shite talk trying to be cool and edgy.
Second in the medal and gold count would be a massive success. In my lifetime (and pretty sure in the history of the winter games) the US has never won either the gold or medal count and only finished second once.
If you don't support US athletes competing under the American flag then that is on you "patriot".

Well with the ladies US skier that is skiing for China you can reduce our count for sure. She is competing for 3 gold and will probably win at least 1.

It would be a severe underperformance for Gu not to medal in Slopestyle and Half Pipe since she is the rightful favorite for gold in both. If she wins gold in Big Air it might need some scrutiny since Ledeux and Oldham are better Big Air competitors.

everything was right except off by 1 silver. We had 8 golds, 10 silvers, 7 bronze, finished 4th in golds and 5th in overall medals
