No. Even though we went 3-0 in pool play and were #1 seed I didn't think we'd win this tournament.
I don't think Slovakia just hung around either. For long stretches they outplayed us and had way more zone time. I think they controlled more of that game.

I was only able to watch the Canada game and this one and we were outplayed in both; however we beat Canada and could have beaten these guys.
Slovakia's goalie is playing great and they could easily ride him to the gold medal game.
We had every chance possible tonight and just didn't get it done... That's a strong possibility when you bring the youngest team to a world tournament.

Then add on the multiple PPs we had and did nothing with, including a 5 vs 3 for nearly 1:30.
