I completely agree. At least in curling I know who is winning and losing. In snowboarding I can’t tell if a trick is a good one or if they mess it up. Unless they fall

cant imagine any other reason to dress that way when no other pro skiers do.

You can’t think of any reason why someone doing somersaults 40ft off the ground would dress differently than someone racing the clock down a sheet of ice at max speed?

Italy working over Norway in the mixed doubles.

Stefania Constantini from Italy can (a) use my hammer and (b) play with my stones any day.

I freaking love to watch Curling. Discovered it years ago with LosAngelesTiger. We were sitting watching it and wondering who the hell watched curling. Two hours later we realized we were still watching it and having a blast

full disclosure: alcohol may have been involved

Cute as a button. Yes that’s a curling joke

I would love to go to a curling place and drink beers while curling with the baws.

I’m going to out myself but I’ve actually appreciated the Base/Actual on figure skating this year for their technical part.

It’s a good explanation on if they just minimally land this jump vs if they nail it.

Every curling club in Canada has a bar up top and you usually play while drinking off to the side when others shoot

It is the ultimate drinking sport

Hurling those massive granite blocks down the ice with precision was exciting. the informative session was great and the coed participants were cute.

I like curling but it really annoys me that they don't telestrate on screen to show which rock they're talking about and the plan they're trying to execute...eg take this path, hit this stone, and have it end up here.

Them just describing it makes it tough to learn what they're doing.

Amazon.com sells a lot of curling stuff. Carbon fiber pushing rods, brushes that aren't brushes, etc. Just reading the descriptions there is kind of interesting.

Wish they would show more ground level behind or in front of the curler to show the degree of curl. I care less about the sweepers. Show the overhead at the end.
