As I understand it, the well returns were being sent to a workboat and not in return pits, therefore they were more than likely unable to monitor the returns, (which in itself is ludicrous) so it was too late when they finally realized there was a problem which was when the expanded gas bubble reached the surface. All of this was so damn preventable.

You still have your down hole pressure monitors which the toolpusher and or driller should have been watching. If they were they would have seen the kick. Now what they did about it if they did I dont know.

Well the drillers not hes dead, tool pusher prop not working anywhere right now with all the investigations, prop doesnt have a job either, thats if hes alive.
