Your Weirdest Interview Experiences

This thread serves two purposes. To hear them and let me get some feedback on this one...
I put in for a Senior Career Level job and was picked for an interview. On the application, it wanted detailed explanation about your experience/career examples where skills were applied, etc.
Well, apparently I did okay because I was selected for a phone interview. But before we have the phone interview, I have to answer a Scenario based three question exam in 30 minutes prior to the actual phone interview.
This just sounds absurd to me but the position is in Washington, D.C. and I really want the job. I was told if it's not completed and turned in within the time limit, the interview will be canceled.
How absurd does this sound? I guess they're trying to test my...hell, I don't know. Problem solving?

Once a company I was applying for an internship with had me complete 3 different tests (Grammar, Reading Comprehension and Math) that resembled the standardized tests I took in HS...they then commended me on my grammar performance and never answered why they gave me a "test" before I qualified for the interview

Walked in and this was waiting for me. Tell you what, that was a rough interview.

Doesn't sound that complicated. It appears to be a test on how you perform in a time pressure situation.

Doesn't sound that odd. I've had personality tests before interviews, scenario play on topics seemingly not affiliated with the job, online myers-briggs type exams...

bet you bent over backwards to get that job.

Had to do similar to work for a bank. They just want the best information they can on a person. Crunching time helps them figure out what you actually would do rather than what you think they want you to say. Pretty common practice.

I don't understand the time limit response on this for one thing, that leads directly to the interview which is 45 minutes long.
I obviously am excited about this position but this seems absurd with the time limit.

I was dry humped at the Perkins & College Fast Track when I was in High school, in a little 4x6 office. She gave me the job, and other than the occasional "accidental" grope, never gave me a hard time.

It tells them that you can't figure out a solution in 30 minutes..How would solve an issue on the fly

Fox News just asked me for an interview on the street in NYC during my lunch break.

Are you serious? I really don't understand what's so hard to get about it.
Is this your first time working in a management level position? A test with time constraints when you are looking for higher level positions.

That I understand that I suppose. But I more affiliate that with engineering or operations management. Not Procurement.

Weirdest and Best:
Dropped in to visit some old buddies at a training facility. Walk in - Senior Instructor (old friend) says "You want a job as an instructor?"
me "Sure, sounds great"
Instructor: Come in next week for informal interview but you got the job.
me "Cool"
