In front of 35,161 at Yankee Stadium and the millions watching around the world, Andrew choked under the pressure. He somehow managed to lose the ring. Not exactly charming the pants out of Heather and definitely not showing what a responsible husband he’ll be in the future. Good-natured fellow Yankees fans joined the search party sweeping the section for the missing ring. Until finally the ring was found and she still said yes.

Thought it was a mrkt stunt but that was real fear in that mans eyes.

Another reason not to do a huge public proposal.

Serves him right. Proposing at a sporting event is one of the cheesiest and saddest attempts at romance I can conjure up. I don't care if you are a fan in the stands or even a player that just made the game-winning play or won a championship, it's still pathetic either way.

She's no dime by any means, but I'd say he outkicked the coverage.

Who are you to tell someone where to propose?
I have a friend who owns season tickets to Saints games. It's a big part of his life and that is where he felt he should propose because him and his wife are huge sports fans. I think it depends on the relationship where you propose. Just cause it doesn't suit your style, don't piss on his choice

It's still lame as hell.

And no matter how much a "sports fan" a woman says she is....she will never be a bigger fan than most men are.

Dude, what romance is there at sporting event? Serious question.

It reeks of selfishness on the part of the guy for failing to plan something more elaborate and worthy of the woman he plans to spend the rest of his life with. I think most women will admit that aside from the birth of their child (or children) and their wedding day, one of the most important, memorable, and, hopefully, happy moments of their adult life is their proposal.

I don't give a shite how much of a sports fan she claims to be. You're telling me you're going to subject her proposal to some setting involving obnoxious and drunken adult men wearing jerseys? Get the frick out of here.
