I will start by saying CLE is a democratic stronghold with minority leadership for years. The downtown business, entertainment district, all walk-able form The Jake (err progressive field), Quicken Loans arena, playhouse square, and many bars, restaurants. Among the one of Michael Symons places. Well the rioters do what they do, and smash windows, loot and just enjoying themselves. That same area has become similar to the warehouse dist in NOLA, and has 20K+ residents in condo's/apartments in repurposed buildings.

Well, the city has been locked down. No entrance from freeways, and inner city bridges that lead to this area. If you don't have an ID with an address in that area, you ain't getting, no exceptions. A current utility bill in your name will also suffice.

However, the clean suburbs are peaceful.

At least you can get into downtown NOLA if you wanted to.

City leadership, no question. But entrepreneurs, in the banking, medical and insurance fields have great bases downtown and burbs, have driven growth downtown and it is great place with lots to do.......comfortably for 6 months of the year.

That sucks. Terrible that years of progress and improvements are being undone in just a few days.

Indeed I will. Love you CT Jr... heck we may be the only "outed" father and son on the TD....you are welcome Chicken...even if we didn't get no T's. Honors bestowed nonetheless.

Not sure where your prospective base /employer is, but Hudson is a great, upper middle, white, great downtown, that is 40 minutes from all the large employers. Key, Huntington bank, progressive insurance, sherwin williams, cleveland clinic, Jones Day law, Timken, Steris etc

All the "outer ring" suburbs, south of IH 480, is safe and simple. Can't go wrong with then schools in Solon, Hudson, Brecksville/Broadview Hgts and most of the "outer ring" suburbs are LA private school level.

Truth...and how many of the destroyers where thinking of George during the lawlessness? Many budding entrepreneurs will not survive the CV and this on top. Sad.

I’ve lived east side, west side, and downtown. Cleveland has such an undeserved reputation and it’s downtown living is among the best in the middle part of the country. Arts, sports, and a great food scene.

It’s also suffered under democratic leadership for decades. Frank Jackson is a joke

Hudson has some of the top public schools in the state. Bay Village, Westlake, Avon, Solon, Chagrin Falls schools are better than anything you will find in Nola including private schools. Cost of living is great too.

I’ve been unlucky enough to live in Fudge’s district and Little Dennis’s district. I was able to vote for Anthony Gonzalez before moving out of Westlake
