Y'all get your disaster food stamps yet? SIAP

Not a long process since those who already get them just have the disaster relief added to their existing card.

I have nothing against people who need it after a disaster, thank god I'm not one of them.

I would bet you also believe we should drug test food stamp recipients, even though its proven to be a massive waste of taxpayer money.
Thousands of people lost everything. I'm happy to give up the very small amount of my check it takes to help people who need it. That was my view even before this flood.

The first form you are required to complete and turn in at the DSNAP site is a voter registration form. You are required to submit before you can discuss eligibility. If you are registered you can select no. Just wondering why this is required? Drumming up votes for who?

It's federal law that everyone has to be given the opportunity to register to vote when applying for/renewing their drivers license or applying for public benefits.

Well, thanks for the info. Seems like an odd thing to have people doing who have lot everything and are just wanting to get some help and get out of the lines.
