The "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels is laboring on Labor Day... trying to pump us up for this geriatric match Down Under between HHH & Undertaker

Mrs. GoatBay & wannabe-Mrs. Super Cena take on Cousin Liv and the rest of the Riott Squad

No one wants to hate Braun Strowman ahead of his Universal Title match with Roman Reigns... so naturally he has to explain why WWE's hooked him up with perhaps Raw's top heel tandem of Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre

and speaking of tag teams... the Raw Tag Team Championships are on the line tonight as the B Team defends again against the Revival

and it wouldn't be Labor Day without beating the shite out of a boss figure... so either Corbin or Stephanie will be murdered live on TV tonight... hopefully both

that plus more on Raw

That damn Stone Cold ruined Stephanie's first wedding.

I'm watching Monday Night Football tonight so I won't be in the thread much once that gets started.

Oh, would you look at that. That guy who used to post finally signed back in to make a post and it totally wasn't an accident by another poster.

No but you can watch it on NJPW World. It was so much better than most WWE ppvs.

I'm assuming that's a pay site. I did bookmark a shady site that someone else told me about on here so I may try to catch it on there.

One of the benefits of putting on your own show is that you can book yourself to win the title, or in the Bucks case you can book yourself in the main event. NWA is doing a 70th anniversary show next month where Cody will have his first title defense.

Almost a WCW DDP-Goldberg situation?

I watched and thoroughly enjoyed. Very well put together and had something for everyone. That part you posted was the most moment for me Hats off to Cody and the Bucks.

The main events especially all delivered. Thought Omega/Pentagon was MOTN and seeing Fenix/Rey/Ibushi all interact was awesome. Full of surprises all night too. I won’t spoil anything major, but was surprised to see the legend himself make an appearance

A few weeks ago I read that DOn Callis was talking to some NJPW people about building some sort of relationship. I forget if it was someone from NJPW or Impact that said it, but basically the future of the wrestling business is WWE vs the world. ROH, NJPW, Impact, NWA, and the Mexican promotions are all working together now. I think they can do at least 4 arena super shows a year in the US and draw big numbers. We're starting to see the first real alternative to WWE since WCW. This is really a great time for wrestling.

I mean... the only reason to have that match there was to put the NWAWHC on Cody

the 10 LBs of gold is finally on someone truly relevant... not saying anything bad about Aldis... but no generic (WWE only) wresting fan knows him... but they know Cody Rhodes

probably the 1st time the NWAWHC has been on someone relevant since the end of that belt's run on TNA/Impact
