WWE Friday Night Smackdown Thread: Draft Edition

AEW got what it wanted out of the closing segment on Dynamite... namely WWE broadcaster Pat McAfee talking about Tony Khan being in a neck brace from the Meltzer Driver (hey Pat... it's the TK Driver now) to a nationwide NFL audience during the NFL Draft broadcast last night... TK & Pat keeping kayfabe alive in 2024
No AEW Rampage tonight due to the NHL playoffs airing on TNT... Rampage will air after Collision tomorrow night. Also... recent WWE released tag team Grizzled Young Veterans will make their AEW debut tomorrow night

Hi rt3! I hope you're doing well.
I'll admit that TK wearing the neck brace during the draft was amusing. Not sure if the rest of the Jags organization agreed but no one cares about the Jags anyway.
Paul better make sure that Tama Tonga understands that savage behavior will not be tolerated or Aldis may commit another Shoah, much like all those Columbia students are doing.

Tony Khan called AEW the "Pepsi" to WWE's evil juggernaut "Harvey Weinstein" earlier on the NFL network.
How this dude can take 5 steps forward to 38 steps back by just opening his mouth is insane considering the universal acclaim for his neck brace. fricking idiotic. And then you have assclowns like Meltzer constantly swallowing that dudes nut.
Looking forward to the draft. Tribal Chief probably moving to Raw considering the Netflix deal right?

Dynamite did their worst rating in three years. To be fair, people may have turned it off due to the audio issues but it also looks like this is still fallout from showing the Punk tape and now bringing back Jack Perry.
Raw will supposedly go back to being the A show once they move to netflix so Cody will likely be staying there. I'm curious to see how all the injuries effect the draft.

I turned off Dynamite after the Moxley match and before the Khan/Perry segment
Not b/c I hate Perry or the whole fallout with Punk
It was b/c the Pelicans playoff game tipped off
I did go catch the segment on YT the next day
