If you notice, most vibrant cities are filled with hipsters. They're good for cities IMO.

Nashville, Austin, Charleston, Savannah, Denver, Portland (weird AF though), Seattle, San Francisco, etc.

(Not including obvious huge cities like NYC and Chicago).

Gays are neighborhood savers.

They earn good incomes and will move into bad areas and inject money to gentrify. Hipsters are similar but don't have the money.

Following gay neighborhood migration is something real estate investors do in big cities.

Surprisingly, I went out in Covington one night and there were hipsters everywhere.

Let's just say it's not the long time residents. On the flip side, Hipsters, minus copious amounts of criminals, equals higher property values. I guess we have to take the good (higher property values) with the bad (hipsters...aka - closet yuppies with mailbox money).

You have some screwed up opinions. Glad you decided on Mississippi instead of here. You'll fit in way better.

He must be the most backwoods, hillbilly realtor in the world.

I mean...if you are a realtor and sell homes....wouldn't you embrace an area with more hipsters? Areas with an influx in hipsters start having an increase in property values as seen with other cities. Isn't that a positive thing for a realtor??

I'm fine with gays gentrifying, I just dont see how they make good neighbors. Unless you really want to live in the areas that were previously gang infested...

Hipsters start up good coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries. They're a good thing for neighborhoods. Am I going to hang out with them? Probably not. But I'd rather live in a hipster type neighborhood than some shitty suburban area

The types that hate them are usually fat plant worker baws

The sorority royalty mentality at LSU and the like is hilarious. Your dad being an accountant and living in Mandeville doesn't make you like someone who grew up with summers in the Hamptons.

Yep. Same thing happened with tattoos. But I always laugh at the non-conforming conformists in places like Nola.

My buddy shipped me something I left at his place during Mardi Gras. It was wrapped in a t-shirt from a local company that says "Hipsters go home."

Man buns (I love mine), hipsters, thugs, culcha, and no statutes.

Melt. Sounds like you gotta find another hot spot. Mandeville or Covington might be more of ya taste bawse
