WTF is The Rum House selling?

Every time intent to come here (BTR), you can't find a parking spot! The food is OK so what am I missing? Is there some secret off the menu shite that I should be ordering?

Everything I had there recently was good. Nachos were gigantic.

It is the hot place for young professionals now. Less trash than other establishments, etc.

It's new. Not terrible food. In a location where nothing similar existed.

I heard from a local store owner that they did some skeevy permitting at the rum house. Think there are zoning regs for patron capacity to parking ratios that they got pushed through but I'm not expert in that stuff.

Their extra parking is in the gravel lot off to the back right

Would not surprise me one bit.. The investor bank next door had to lock down their parking lot after they close

Correct. But that was originally going to be site paved. Only limestone or are they still working on it?

McAllisters parking lot is just sad to look at when people are parking at the hospital to go to the rum house.

It is a good drink spot close to the health center where a ton of people who work there are looking for just that.
Also, I like the food a lot. Good tacos, good vibes, and good drink specials right around quitting time.
