If anyone has ever seen the Hannibal/Funk incident, it's at https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZgmBXpmqCs0. This was supposed to be worked but the Hannibal guy was pretty damn stiff. Even that slap only temporarily wobbled Funk though.

I remember watching Beyond the Mat 24 (!) years ago and thinking he didn't have much longer then.

Kinda surprised he made it this far. Had some good times watching him when I was a kid though.

That is a hell of a eulogy article. Nicely done. Funk is one of those guys in the business that I don't think anyone had a negative word to say about. He was just good folks, it seems.

What's crazy is as tough as Funk was, Adrian Street in his prime would have probably legit kicked the shite out of Funk or at least pushed him to his limit. His gimmick was not at all indicative of what he was truly capable of.
