Would you want to know how and when you'll die?

Say you won't be able to prevent it or change how you die. Would you want to know the exact time, date and how you'll die?

Yes but I would want to be sick and told I was going to die. I don't care to know right now.

Yes. I would take a lot more risks. I would love to cliff dive if I knew it wouldn't kill me.

Sure. And the day before I scarf down the dope I've stashed to be master of my own fate. Nothing better than cheating death.

This too...

Die in 2 years - enjoy every moment and relationship I have

Die when I'm 100 - be my usual a-hole self while I rage as hard as I can without any fear of death

absolutely

maybe I would not build the 2nd house.

maybe I would just go to Hawaii.

one good thing, California passed recreational marijuana.

No I don't, to me that's the scary situation about dying is knowing it's about to happen, I'm hoping I die in my sleep

No. I live my life the best I can and when it's my time, then it's my time. I feel that if I knew when I was going to die, I'd obsess and stress about it every day.

Sure. Why not?

Hell I might actually go to church the Sunday before, just to cover my arse.

I'm not too worried about dying. Doesn't help anything and from past experiences I actually think it will be kinda peaceful, as long as it's not burning or buried alive or drowning, and even drowning wouldn't be as bad as those first two probably.

Just fall asleep and never wake up. There's worse things than that imo.

Speaking of getting old and stuff, has LCA been posting lately?

I've thought I was as good as dead so many times overseas it changed the way I live and think. Everyday to the fullest.

no

I think most of us are actually just a little bit in denial of the fact that we will die. knowing exactly how and when one would die would consume your life.

frick no. It doesn't matter. It is an instinctive thing to worry about, but I try not to think about it. As I get older I find that I am getting more successful.

quote:

Death is not an event in life: we do not live to experience death. If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present. Our life has no end in the way in which our visual field has no limits.
