Would this have happened at Chick-fil-A?

This is not intended to be a food/drink board discussion. This thread is about customer service, not specifically in the restaurant industry, but all industries, a company's DNA, leadership and who they hire and what separates the the truly awful customer service, i.e. McDonald's and Dollar General from the horrific customer service companies such as Burger King, Popeyes and Wal-Mart?
Our order. Kid's cheeseburger, with only cheese.
If I order a chicken sandwich with only cheese at Chick-fil-A, would this have happened?

To their credit, yes. And for only $.50 cents too.

Cheeseburger. Meat and cheese only.

I cannot see a picture, but I think I know the gist of your post. I had something similar happen at a McDonalds in Fayetteville, NC. Asked for a plain cheeseburger, no pickles, no onions. Got a bun with a piece of cheese on it.

They gave you what you ordered.

How about saying "a cheeseburger plain"?
This sentence structure is STUPID!!! so you deserve what you got!!

So the BURGER part has no relevance then?

You sure you didn't order a cheese sandwich bub
ETA What you really meant to order was a kid's cheeseburger with cheese, meat, and bread. That probably would have gotten you what you wanted....I learned a while back that people that work at fast food restaurants have to have shite spelled out for them exactly.

I've actually had that happen at a McDonald's... I did the two cheeseburger deal and said cheese only. I got one only cheese and other regular. Brought it back and the MANAGER said, "oh I didn't know you wanted both only cheese."
