It’s like the cops decided that they already fricked up so let’s go all out on this.

Isn’t this ALWAYS the MO?

Protect the department before actually asking legitimate questions?

The city has been pretty shitty towards the cops and the department basically has taken a “oh you don’t want us? Fine we won’t help you” approach to situations. And I don’t blame them one bit

Are the cops going to give their paycheck back as well? You’re implying that how the cops feel about the public dictates if they actually work or not. Do you have any idea how dumb you sound? Can you tell me any other job where if you get your feelings hurt at work, you can just stop working and still get paid? You sound like a snowflake pussy.

This sure as shite isn’t going to help with the image of the police or make their job any easier.

It’s all BS now. There was about two hours this morning when common sense and some phone calls could have helped a lot with this. Since that time it has been all been about covering asses and listening to legal folks on how to respond.

had a nice rant today about how weird it is that a freaking announcer for an NFL game like Tony Romo or Erin Andrews will have tight security , and escorts, just to work a preseason NFL game .. while you have the NUMBER ONE GOLFER IN THE WORLD driving his own rental car by himself in the dark to a 5am tee time at Valhalla.. seems pretty janky to me..

Doesn’t Kamara walk to football games?

Maybe Scheffler doesn’t want all the added BS attention that comes with body guards and escorts.

They all drive themselves at tournaments. Also, it is not a rental car. Every player is given a Lexus courtesy car (SUV) to use for the week. The car is clearly marked as a courtesy car by a large sign on the front doors.

Paul Blart getting annoyed at all those white SUV "VIPs" being allowed to go past their little cop car 'theater' into Valhalla and he was puttin' a stop to it.

If that’s true, then i expect him to come out and play like the equivalent of if Michael Jordan dropped 75 pts in a game .

Shot 6 under and is now in 3rd. 2nd lowest round of the day so far.

Meh. If it is a conspiracy to make the city or Louisville look bad due to how bad cops have been treated the last several years in the city, I’m good with it. The city has been pretty shitty towards the cops and the department basically has taken a “oh you don’t want us? Fine we won’t help you” approach to situations. And I don’t blame them one bit

It's great that taxpayer funded employees can decide to do a shitty job because the public doesn't like them.

No one in nola like the Sewerage and Water Board, are they justified in being dogshit?

I would expect my 6 year old to have this logic. Not a mature adult.

That arrest was all about the Officer getting emotional and losing his head. In reality, there was some confusion do to the accident ahead, Scottie didn’t realize it. He was supposed to flash his credentials and drive past. He stopped when the officer told him to. At that time, the officer SHOULD have realized what was going on and told Scottie to pay attention next time, and be done with it. The Officer was pissed that someone dare pass through his roadblock and took it out on Scottie. There is a saying in law enforcement for situations like this, when an officer gets pissed. “You may not do the time, but you ARE gonna take the ride. Subsequently charges are trumped up, to make it difficult for a DA to just drop, without political pressure from Karen. Charges should be dismissed in full and this cop should NOT be around the public. He can’t keep his head. I’m always against someone saying do you know who I am? They should take the ride. This was not that. Overzealous cop.

The cop has documented injuries...what in the hell are you blabbering on about?

The guy needed to "make his tee time" boofrickinhoo...OK , Brittany Griner of the golf world.
Leave it to a NOLA cop to not put up with bullshite from the famous trying to live in a privledged world of their own. See Mardi Gras for great examples.. It wasn't a misunderstanding it was assault on Scottie's part. He needs to be treated like any other criminal.
