Women and coed recreational sports leagues

I'm in a semi-competitive coed softball league in north Atlanta that plays on Wednesday nights. A couple of steps above beer league but still pretty laid back.
The league rules require at least 2 females have to be present and playing, one in the infield and one in the outfield. We have 3 girls on our team. 2 of them have not made it to a single game so far, and we've played 6. In our team groupme, it's the same ritual every Wednesday - an hour before first pitch, one of them will message "hey guys, so sorry, I'm not gonna make it todayyy!" and the other will follow suit with "me neither guys so sorry!" Keep in mind that the fee for the league was $100. We've had to forfeit 3 of the 6 games because we couldn't recruit any subs in time. We're one forfeit away from being disqualified for the playoffs.
I get it's mainly a casual outing and means of light exercise, but I still don't understand why women can't plan for a simple hour of their day on a Wednesday afternoon at 7:00, especially given the commitment and entry fee.
Dear Facebook...

I mean, the answer is right there. They are women.

can't you just identify as female when needed?

You’re just now finding out women generally suck at making plans?

It's 2023. Just identify a woman as needed.

I'm going to guess that you don't spend much time around women.
Just kidding. I'm familiar with the phenomenon. I used to play on a coed indoor rec. soccer team that was 7v7. We'd have to have 2 women on the field at a time. We'd usually recruit 6 or 8 women for the team, just so that we could meet the minimum. Most weeks we'd have to practically beg for any of them to show up. At the time we were all single and it was on Wednesday evenings, not exactly a time when people when people had big plans.
Women are unreliable with this kind of stuff; it is what it is.

When you use the term, "semi-competitive coed softball league" it's signal you're taking softball way too seriously.

Semi-competitive my arse.
oh and...

Y'all are turbo autists and trying to make a casual league competitive, thus scaring the hoes. They're flaking so they don't have to be stuck with y'all for an hour sweating them about dropping fly balls

That's some unmarried, no kids signalling.
Since when is 7 the afternoon?

same thing in my soccer leagues, which sucked because if you didnt have the girl, you just had to play down a person.
And it wasnt fair to the girls that showed up and had to play a full 90.
So basically, women ruin everything.

Used to play in a lot of co-Ed leagues because they tend to be a little more laid back and it was the same crap. Always scrambling at the last minute to find enough gals.
…and if we miraculously had enough show up, the other team didn’t.
I find it’s best to get on a team with married couples. At least the husbands are responsible for dragging them along.
