Jesus what the hell are people thinking. She's quarantined on the ship apparently.

A Texas health worker who handled clinical specimens from the patient diagnosed with Ebola is on a cruise ship in the Carribean, with the worker quarantined and being monitored for signs of infection, the State Department said in a statement

I expect tomorrow's headline to note that medical workers in Texas ate Duncan's body. They simply didn't know that was a problem.

Are you saying the people on the ship are overreacting by quarantining her or that you dont know what she was thinking by having no regard for anyone but herself and getting on that ship which put every single person at risk?

The latter of the two. Even if she has no signs with all the fricking hoopla I'm sure the cruise liner would have given her a refund

From reading the article, it looks like she quarantined herself

Did all of the health workers just decide to go on vacation after Duncan died?

If working on Ebola means that you cant live normally then every healthcare worker should refuse to work on them.

Go on strike if you have to or demand a shite load more money to do it.

Hospitals should start offering hazard pay for employees agreeing to treat Ebola patients. Hell I'm sure the fed will reimburse them if it came down to it.

We need a moratorium on nursing. Ban all nurses. We need a complete overhaul of the US nursing industry.

It makes sense. I mean if just doing my job means that everyone is going to treat me like a leper then I should be compensated.

If you think hospitals aren't considering this option you're 100% wrong
